Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All-India Ration Dealers' Association has asked the ration dealers in the State to submit applications for being included in the State Government's programme for distributing essential commodities through ration shops.

An association spokesman said here that applications would have to be submitted in a prescribed form to the respective Regional Managers of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation on or before December 10.

Nearly 7,000 types of articles will be supplied to selected ration shops under this programme at the rates applicable at the `Maveli' fair price stores. Ration dealers are required to adhere to certain stipulations for being included in the programme, the spokesman added.
