Back Suryalakshmi Cotton plans Rs 20-cr expansion

SURYALAKSHMI Cotton Mills Ltd plans to embark on a Rs 20-crore expansion plan, which includes increasing its denim manufacturing capacity from 20 million metres per annum to 30 million.

According to the company, it also proposes to add 5,000 spindles to the existing 70,000 before the end of the current fiscal.

This expansion is expected to be in value-added yarns such as doubled yarn, TFO and combed yarns.

The capital expenditure proposals of about Rs 20 crore would be funded from internal accruals, the company said.
