7 National Media Fellowships awarded

New Delhi: Seven National Media Fellowships have been awarded by the National Foundation for India for 2004-2005.

The awardees are Luv Puri, Staff Reporter, The Hindu ; Shiv Kumar, Special Correspondent, The Tribune, Mumbai; Shashi Kumar Velath, Special Correspondent, Tehelka, New Delhi; Justin Joseph, Reporter, Deepika, Kochi; Ratna Bharali Talukdar, a freelance journalist, Guwahati; Ramdev Vishvabandhu, a freelance journalist, Jharkhand; and Vibhash Kumar Jha, a freelancer for Hindustan Times, Raipur.

A committee of media experts convened by Nirmala Lakshman, Joint Editor, The Hindu , advised the Foundation in the selection of the Fellows.
