NEW DELHI, DEC. 7. "You can give a notice for my removal," an exasperated Lok Sabha Speaker, Somnath Chatterjee, said today to the Kerala Congress member, P. C. Thomas. Mr. Chatterjee reprimanded Mr. Thomas for repeatedly trying to put forth his views without the Chair's permission. "You are defying the Chair ... I will name you," Mr. Chatterjee warned. "Anybody deliberately defying the Chair will have to face consequences ... don't think I will remain a silent spectator. Let the people of this country know. This House is not mine but it is yours and you have to run it," he said The public tussle between two Union Ministers, Mr. Chatterjee told them "you should be ashamed" for not resuming their seats and allowing normal proceedings.
