Vimal, Babu shine

TUTICORIN, DEC. 7. Vimal's six for 24 and a solid knock of 69 by Babu helped Pearl City Cricket Club to chalk out a handsome 95-run victory over Pusco Cricket Club in the Indian Bank - Tuticorin District Cricket Association first division league here on Sunday.

First division: Pearl City CC 163 in 37.5 overs (Babu 69, Chinnathambi four for 28) bt Pusco CC 68 in 18 overs (Vimal six for 24, Vinoth four for eight).

DCW Sports Club 167 in 38 overs (Raj 69) bt Kayal CC 62 in 21.2 overs.

Second division: Thermal Recreation Club `A' 153 in 37.3 overs (Siraj 64) lost to Gavaskar CC 154 for eight in 39.1 overs.

Third division: Adithanar CC 115 in 24.5 overs (Jai Narayanan 46) lost to VOC CC 122 for six in 15.3 overs (Venkat 41 not out).

Pope's CC 104 in 25 overs lost to Young Waves CC 105 for four in 14.2 overs.
