Back IIMB meet on innovation from December 16

THE Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, is holding a conference on `Innovation: The Next Lever for Value Creation', from December 16-18.

The conference, organised by IIMB Management Review, a management quarterly, will have researchers, academics and practitioners from management institutions across the country discussing the theme. More than 30 authors are expected to present their work at academic sessions at the conference.

The practitioner perspectives will be shared by Mr S. Shivakumar, CEO of International Business Division, ITC, who pioneered the eChoupal innovation, who will provide first hand experiences of creating value through innovation. Apart from him, the CEOs of Philips India and Sasken will talk about their experiences and perspectives on making innovation happen in real life.

A panel discussion on the theme, `Creating an infrastructure for innovation', will also feature four panelists who have promoted innovation in their organisations.
