Vijay Bharadwaj dropped

BANGALORE, DEC. 8. Vijay Bharadwaj was dropped from the Karnataka Ranji team following a string of low scores in the current season. Bharadwaj's omission and the inclusion of wicket-keeper batsman Vinay Uthappa are the only changes in the State squad led by Sujith Somasundar that defeated Andhra by five wickets here recently. The State team is scheduled to clash against Delhi (Dec. 13 to 16) and Mumbai (Dec. 22 to 25).
