Title for Shivaprakash

BANGALORE, DEC. 12. N. Shivaprakash bagged the men's singles title, beating V. Amar 15-10, 15-10, in the East Cultural Association's state-ranking badminton championship here on Saturday. Shivaprakash also claimed the mixed doubles title with Ruth Misha.

The results (all finals): Men's singles: N. Shivaprakash bt V. Amar 15-10, 15-10.

Boys under-19 singles: V. Amar bt M.D. Anup Kiran 15-7, 15-2; Doubles: Shashank Achar-Mohit Kumar bt Arun-Nandeesh 15-6, 15-12.

Veterans' singles: G. Vinay Siddaraj bt Jayaram Pai 15-3, 15-10; Doubles: Jayaram Pai-Sudhakar Rai bt Arun Poovaiah-K.P. Vasanth Kumar 11-3 (concd.).

Mixed doubles: V. Ruth Misha-Shivaprakash bt G.M. Nischita-G.M. Nandeesh 15-5, 15-8.
