Three new meet marks set

KUMTA (KARNATAKA), DEC. 12. Three new meet records were created on the second day of the three-day inter-collegiate athletic meet of the Karnatak University here on Friday, with one record in the men's section and two in the women's.

The results (winners only): Men: 100m: Vilas Nilagund (Basaveshwar, Gadag, 10.72s); 400m hurdles: Santosh Hosmani (KCD Arts, Dhar, 55.53s); Discus: R. Sharatraj (Basaveshwar, Gadag, 39.32m); High jump: A.P. Anagolkar (RPD Belg, 1.71m); 20-km: Prabhakar Gowd (SDM Honavar, 1:57:27.00, NMR).
