NEW DELHI, DEC. 13. The Telugu Desam Party today raised the issue of several pending railway projects in the State and introduction of trains, including revival of Rajahmundry Shatabdi that has been withdrawn. The TDP MP, K. Rama Mohana Rao, said the withdrawal of the Shatabdi on the ground that traffic was not available was not correct. Participating in a debate on the Railways Appropriation Bill in the Rajya Sabha, Mr. Rao also sought a direct train between New Delhi and Tirupati via Shirdi and a second track for the Secunderabad-Guntakal-Bangalore sector.Thre was an urgent need for expediting pending projects, including Peddapalli-Karimnagar-Nizamabad and Munirabad-Mahabubnagar.
