Back Pact to set up taskforce on FTA

ASSOCHAM and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a taskforce on formulating strategies to prevent misuse of the Free Trade Agreement and ensure that the `certificate of origin' rules are adhered to.

The MoU was signed by the Assocham Alternate President, Mr Anil K. Agarwal, and the Vice-Chairman of FTI, Mr Plengsakdi Prakaspesat.
