Back Five flyovers planned in Hyderabad Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: The State Government will construct five new flyovers in the State Capital by July 2005 at a cost of Rs 99.20 crore. The flyovers would be constructed at Punjagutta, Greenlands, Nalgonda Cross Roads, RTC Cross Roads and Chandrayanagutta, the Minister for Municipal Administration, Mr K. Ranga Rao, told the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday in a reply to a question posed by the Congress legislator, Mr P. Janaradhana Reddy. To another question raised by the Telugu Desam Party legislator, Mr Y. Ramakrishnudu, and four others, the Minister for Major Irrigation, Mr P. Lakshmaiah, said that total cost of the Devadula Lift Irrigation Project, now renamed as Sri Chokka Rao Godavari Lift Irrigation Project, was estimated at Rs 783 crore. An amount of Rs 400.82 crore was provided for the project in the State Budget for 2004-05.
