Mainly clear

sky forecast

There will be mainly clear sky and the minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department for Monday.

On Sunday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 28.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.1 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 43 per cent. At the airport, the maximum temperature was 27.3 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 13.2 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 32 per cent.

The Balashankari Parameswar Memorial Bharatanatyam competition will be held on January 8 while the Senior Maharani Sethulakshmi Bai Memorial Carnatic music competition will be conducted on January 16 at 9.30 a.m.

The contestants should be aged between 15 and 23 as on January 1. Participants outside Bangalore will be given second-class train fares.
