APSRTC arts fete held

HYDERABAD, DEC. 19. Vijayawada Zone and Head Office Zone won the first prize in plays and playlets category respectively in the three-day APSRTC Artsco Cultural Festival competitions held at APSRTC Kala Bhavan, Baghlingampally and Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally from December 16 to 18.

The other winners at the competitions were Malleswari (mime), P.V. Rao (mono action), D.S. Ramulu (classical dance), J. Prabhakar (folk dance), T. Ramakrishna (classical music) and N.V. Bhadram (light music). P.P. Vara Prasada Rao won the first prize in story and poetry writing, according to a press release.
