Appointed Administrator of UTI undertaking

NEW DELHI, DEC. 20. The Central Government today appointed the former Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Sunil Behari Mathur, the Administrator of the Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India.

He succeeds M. Damodaran who relinquished the post yesterday.

A qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Mr. Mathur retired from the LIC in October.

Joining the LIC in 1967, he became its chairman at a time when the insurance sector had just opened up.
