NEW DELHI, DEC. 20. A juvenile justice court here today allowed the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police (Crime Branch) one-day police charge of a student of a public school in Delhi. He was detained on Sunday following a multi-media messaging service (MMS) scandal. He is charged with filming his intimate moments with a girl on his mobile phone camera and forwarding it to his friends. The boy was produced in the Mukherji Nagar juvenile court, where the police, through the public prosecutor, requested at least five days of police charge to question him for reconstruction of the entire sequence of events leading to the sale of the video clip on an e-business portal. They alleged that the boy later tampered with the evidence in his bedroom where he had filmed the act. The court permitted the police to question the boy tomorrow in the presence of his parents and the Juvenile Welfare Officer. Later, he will be sent to a correction home in case he is not granted bail.
