Back General awareness programme for school students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Quizmaster Mr Giri `Pickbrain' Balasubramaniam will launch a unique GK Service called GAP (General Awareness Programme) for schools in Thiruvananthapuram.

The programme aims at creating a common, structured, defined approach to global awareness across India that would help teachers bridge the gap between the outside world and the student.

GAP will seek to provide continuous monthly updates to the schools, a spokesman said here. It also will aim to do away with the misconception that GK and global awareness are a requirement for only those who attend quiz shows.
