Back Indoco chief is new IDMA president

THE Indian Drugs Manufacturers' Association (IDMA) has a new President — Mr Suresh G. Kare, Chairman and Managing Director of Indoco Remedies Ltd.

Besides the President, the IDMA's governing body also elected vice-presidents for four regions as members of the committee, a communiqué from the association said.

The vice-presidents are Mr Premchand C. Godha, Managing Director of IPCA Laboratories Ltd, for the Western region; Mr Deepnath Roy Chowdhury, Managing Director of Strassenburg Pharmaceuticals Ltd, in the East; Mr N.R. Munjal, Managing Director of Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd, for the northern region and Mr S.V. Veerramani, Chairman and Managing Director of Fourrts (India) Laboratories Pvt Ltd, for the southern region.
