Back TVS-E forays into laser toner market

TVS Electronics Ltd, the Chennai-based computer peripheral manufacturer, has forayed in to the laser toner market with the introduction of recycled laser toners in India.

Through this launch, TVS-E plans to expand its supplies portfolio and gain a foothold into the office supplies segment. The company aims at capturing a 3-5 per cent share in the Rs 400-crore laser toner market by the end of 2005, according to a press release.

The laser toners would be launched across the country with focus on Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The company has also appointed sales executives exclusively for the supplies division in these cities and a 10-member call centre to educate customers and generate leads for laser toners, the release said.
