Back Kerala: Reservoir water levels decline Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels in the three major reservoirs of Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada in the State have registered a slight decline compared with those recorded a week ago, according to figures released by the Central Water Commission. The level declined from 2,364.24 ft to 2,362.02 ft at Idukki; 503.38 ft to 501.67 ft at Idamalayar; and 369.32 ft to 367.62 ft at Kallada. However, year-on-year levels indicate that the three reservoirs have registered a rise in water levels. These were higher by 20.23 ft at Idukki, 10.79 ft at Idamalayar and 11.39 ft at Kallada.
