Back PowerGrid gets consultancy order

NEW DELHI: State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) has bagged a consultancy assignment from Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd for construction of a sub-station in the hill country.

Under the order, PGCIL would provide consultancy for construction of 220/66 kV sub-station at Pasakha Industrial Estate in Chukha, Dzongkhag, Bhutan, a PGCIL press release said.

The consultancy fee is Rs 97 lakh, it said, adding the sub-station would feed power to Phuentsholing and Gomtu and the industries at Pasakha in Bhutan.
