Woman jumps to death from third floor

CHENNAI, JAN. 6. A 42-year-old woman died after she jumped from the third floor of a mansion on Greams Road early on Thursday.

Police said Anjali Sha from Assam came here last month and was undergoing treatment for mental depression at a private hospital in Thousand Lights. Around 2 a.m. the woman allegedly jumped from the third floor and died on the spot. The body was removed to the Government Royapettah hospital for post-mortem, police added.
