Metrowater open house

CHENNAI, JAN. 6. An open house meeting will be organised by Chennai Metrowater on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the area offices.

The public can present their grievances about water and sewage problems to the officials. They can also clarify their doubts regarding water, sewerage tax and water charges.

The areas are Kodungaiyur and Tondiarpet-I, Royapuram and Washermenpet-II, Perambur and Vyasarpadi-III, Kilpauk and Ayanavaram-IV, Anna Nagar and Mogappair-V, Chepauk and Triplicane-VI, Chetpet and Nungambakkam-VII, T. Nagar and Kodambakkam-VIII, Saidapet and Kotturpuram-IX, Adyar and Mylapore-X. A superintending engineer will chair the meeting in each area office, said an official release. During the last meeting held in December 2004, 176 complaints were received pertaining to sewage disposal and water supply.
