Back FIEO panel to help raise funds

KOLKATA: The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has constituted a committee under the chairmanship Mr Ramu S. Deora, past president of FIEO, to facilitate fund-raising from the exporting community.

Mr O.P. Garg, the newly-elected President of the federation, has appealed to the entire exporting community to donate generously to the fund set up by FIEO, so that an amount of Rs 5 crore can be handed over to the PM's Relief Fund.

According to Mr Garg, exporters have responded positively, and have confirmed individual donations of lakhs of rupees for the noble cause.
