Back Seminar on VAT

HYDERABAD: Keeping in view the upcoming Ordinance on value-added tax (VAT), the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry is organising a seminar on `Draft VAT and Rules' here on Saturday.

Mr K. Rosaiah, Minister for Finance, would deliver the inaugural address, the federation said here in a press release on Friday.

"The objective is to elicit the views of industry and trade on the upcoming tax regime," it said.

Mr V. Bhaskar, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, and industry representatives would address the seminar.
