Back NPPA revises prices of 99 formulations

THE National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has revised/fixed the prices of 99 formulation packs on bulk drugs such as Analgin, Vitamin C/Vitamin E, Amoxycillin + Cloxacillin/Lactic Acid Bacillus, Vitamin A, Ibuprofen and paracetamol, among others.

The prices of 48 non-ceiling packs, which includes 11 imported insulin formulations, have also been fixed by the NPPA.

The prices have been fixed/revised in accordance with the provisions of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995 and as per the established criteria and guidelines. Also, while fixing these prices, NPPA has considered the revised norms of conversion cost, packing charges, packing material cost and process loss.
