Back Manpower spots Nagapattinam to set up vocation centre Our Bureau
Chennai , Jan. 11 MANPOWER Inc., a global employment services firm, plans to invest $1 million (around Rs 4.5 crore) in a vocational training centre in Tamil Nadu to help rebuild lives of those affected by the tsunami. It has identified Nagapattinam as the most likely location of its vocational centre and is in talks with the Government for its approval to start working on the detailed rehabilitation plan for funding, infrastructure, human resources and implementation support for this programme, according to a company release. Further, the total cash donation of around $7 lakh across Manpower's operations will assist families in Asia.
