Andhra lobby behind GO issue: TRS

HYDERABAD, JAN. 13. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has claimed that the GO revising service rules in Telangana, said to have been issued by the State Government recently, was brought out by a `strong Andhra lobby' in the Secretariat.

The GO, fixing the ratio of jobs between locals and non-locals ratio in jobs in the region at 70:30, was issued without the knowledge of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who was helpless to the goings on, the TRS chief coordinators -- K. Yadagiri Reddy, S. Madhusudhanachary and B.L. Satish Mahajan -- told reporters here on Thursday.

They asked the Government to prosecute the officials concerned or else be prepared for a protest by the party.
