Back Xerox Modicorp launches 8 products Our Bureau

New Delhi , Jan. 19 XEROX ModiCorp Ltd today launched eight digital printing products and four software applications at the ongoing Printpack India 2005 expo. Mr Vipin Tuteja, Director - Production Systems Group of Xerox ModiCorp, said: "The digital printing industry has undergone a paradigm shift as there is growing competition demanding vendors to constantly innovate and anticipate customer requirements." Sakata Inx: Meanwhile, Sakata Inx also launched its offset printing project. The company is setting up an advanced capital intensive unit at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. This unit is expected to be ready for production in May. The Managing Director, Mr V.K. Seth, said: "After positioning ourselves as a strong player in the gravure ink segment and to meet the emerging trends and standards of an ever-expanding market, we are launching this offset printing project". Autoprint: Signalling an aggressive foray into the four-colour offset printing machinery market, Autoprint launched two products at the expo - Quadra 450 and AutoPrint Gamut 300. The company has earmarked Rs 5 crore investment for these products. The company also launched Setmaster collating machine, AutoPrint KNIGHT 250CB (the two colour offset printing machines) and PTP 50NB (a continuous stationery number and barcode printing machine).
