Back Garment technology expo 2005 begins G. Srinivasan
Our Bureau New Delhi , Jan. 21 A FOUR-DAY exposition "Garment Technology Expo 2005" on Friday got off here, showcasing the latest garment technology to enable Indian garment manufacturers make the appropriate technology options to cash in on the post-quota free regime governing global trade in textiles and clothing. Over 900 leading domestic and foreign companies and brands from more than 20 countries including Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, the UK, the US, Korea, China and Taiwan have registered in the expo. The products on display include cutting and sewing machines, stream finishing, fusing laundry, embroidery, CAD/CAM systems, software solutions, testing equipment, knitting, packaging, fabrics, dyes and chemicals and trimmings. According to Mr Ricky Sahni, Director, Garment Technology Expo, the exposition would offer garmenting companies a opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest machinery and services that are available to develop a cutting edge over their competitors.
