Khurda Road wins

VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 27. Khurda Road defeated Sambalpur by six wickets and Bhubaneswar prevailed over Mancheswar by three wickets on Thursday, the inaugural day of the first East Coast Railway inter-Division cricket tournament here.

The scores: Sambalpur 57 in 19.2 overs (Ajay Barik four wickets for two runs) lost to Khurda 61 for three in 7.3 overs (S.P. Dev Burman 40 n.o.). Mancheswar 100 in 27 overs lost to Bhubaneswar 103 for seven in 23 overs).
