The Kochi Infopark (in the picture) and 300 acres of land surrounding it is to be sold to Dubai Internet City for setting up the Smart City. An amount of Rs 100 crore would be invested on the development of Infopark by the State Government. In the first stage , 100 acres of land will be given free of cost and in return Dubai Internet City has promised to offer 33,000 jobs as part payment for the land.
