Back Symposium on TDS

HYDERABAD: A three-day symposium on `Tax Deduction at Source' (TDS) was organised here by Karvy Consultants in association with Shell Technologies, Integrated Enterprises, Alankit Assignments, National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) and the Income Tax Department.

In a press release here, Karvy said 267 delegates from public sector undertakings, State and Central Governments and around 200 delegates from corporate houses attended the symposium from February 1 to 3.

While the Income Tax Department made presentations on thetechnical aspects of TDS, the NSDL team dealt with the filing of returns in the electronic form.
