TDP activist killed

ANANTAPUR, FEB. 3. Even before the district police could cope with the sensational murder of the TDP leader and Penukonda legislator, Paritala Ravindra, another TDP activist, Srinath Goud (37), a close associate of the former MP from Anantapur, K. Srinivasulu, was hacked to death allegedly by his Congress rivals near Dayyalakuntapalli in Bukkaraya Samudram mandal.

According to the police, Srinath Goud, was returning home on his motorcycle when half-a-dozen persons waylaid and attacked him. He belonged to K.K. Agraharam village in Bukkaraya Samudram mandal.

The village has been known for factional and political feuds for long. A TDP activist, Sivaiah, was done to death immediately after the Assembly elections last year.
