Cobbler murdered

CHENNAI, FEB. 7. Munusamy (40), a cobbler on Anna Salai, was murdered due to personal enmity on Monday morning.

Police said that Munusamy recently had a quarrel with Jayaraman, a resident of Mylapore. Around 10 a.m. today, Jayaraman, armed with a knife, attacked Munusamy. The latter, in an attempt to escape, ran into a shopping complex and collapsed there.

The Triplicane police traced Jayaraman and arrested him later.
