MANGALORE: Productivity of an individual makes a difference in the performance of any organisation, according to Mr P. Jayashankar Rai, Deputy General Manager of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizer Ltd.

He was speaking at `Manthan 2005', a seminar on quality circle aspect in management organised by Srinivas College of Post Graduate Management Studies, in Mangalore on Tuesday.

The DGM of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, Mr P.A. Jose, who inaugurated the seminar, said the quality circle concept helps in improving the productivity of a person.

Mr A. Raghavendra Rao, President of A. Shama Rao Foundation, presided over the function. The President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr A. Srinivas Rao, was also present.
