SBL has launched Homeodent, what is supposedly a medicated toothpaste empowered with homoeopathic medicines. It claims to be an effective remedy for common dental problems such as gingivitis, dental caries, plaque and tartar. Also, it claims to prevent the formation of tartar, and treat gingivitis (sensitive tooth), halitosis (bad breath) apart from keeping the gums and teeth in good health. The toothpaste, whose main content is Calendula, should be used for brushing teeth and massaging gums twice or thrice daily. It is available in 100 gm packs at all homoeopathic stores and leading chemists across the country. Homeodent is available in two flavours — Herbomint and Saunf — and priced at MRP Rs 40.
