Double for Govt. PTC (Coimbatore)

MADURAI, FEB. 10. Government PTC (Coimbatore) won the ball badminton and kho-kho titles in the inter-division polytechnic colleges women's games meet at the Latha Mathavan Polytechnic College ground, Alagarkovil, here on Thursday.

The results: Ball badminton (final): Govt. PTC (Cbm) bt Muthayammal College, Rasipuram 29-9, 29-1. Semifinals: Govt. PTC (Cbm) bt CPTC, Taramani 29-4, 29-3; Muthayammal PTC bt Periyar PTC, Vallam, Tiruchi 29-24, 29-23.

Kho-kho (final): Govt. PTC (Cbm) bt WPTC (Pon) 11-1. Semifinals: Govt. PTC (Cbm) bt Dharambal PTC, Taramani 6-2; WPTC (Pon) bt Muthayammal PTC, Rasipuram 8-7.

Tennikoit (final): Govt. PTC (Mdu) bt ADJDPTC, Nagapattinam, Tiruchi 23-21, 21-8. Semifinals: Govt. PTC (Mdu) bt CPTC, Taramani 21-11, 21-10; ADJDPTC, Nagapattinam bt Govt. PTC (Cbm) 18-21, 22-20, 21-10.

Volleyball (semifinals): Govt. PTC (Cbm) bt Govt. PTC (Mdu) 25-4, 25-15; WPTC (Pon) bt Muthayammal PTC, Rasipuram 25-4, 25-15.
