50-year-old charged with raping minor

HYDERABAD, FEB. 10. A 50-year-old man allegedly raped a minor under the Karkhana police station limits on Wednesday.

It is learnt that the nine-year-old girl was playing outside her house at Tadbun when an elderly man approached her.

On the pretext of buying her some eatables, he lured the girl to an isolated place in the Mudfort area where he allegedly committed the crime.

The police reportedly arrested Laxman, a watchman in the Cantonment area in this connection.
