Beverages Corporation official in ACB net

HYDERABAD, FEB. 10. The Central Investigation Unit of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday unearthed disproportionate property worth over Rs. 60 lakhs belonging to Ravuri Venkateswara Rao, General Manager of Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation Limited.

Simultaneous searches carried out by the sleuths at various places in Hyderabad revealed that the accused officer owned three houses, a flat and two plots, huge bank balance and gold jewellery. "The actual property is worth Rs. 1.7 crore, but the disproportionate assets are worth Rs. 60 lakh," an ACB official said. He was arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Hyderabad, according to an official press release.
