Man opens fire at robber

HYDERABAD, FEB. 11. An agriculturist, K. Laxmaiah of Nallagandla village in Chandanagar, opened fire at a fleeing robber who tried to enter his house in the small hours of Friday.

The police said that around 2 a.m, Laxmaiah woke up after he heard dogs barking outside his house.

He went up to the terrace and spotted one person trying to get inside his house by scaling the compound wall.

He quickly picked up his licensed gun and opened one round of fire. However, the miscreant took to his heels, the Chandanagar police said.
