Back Airtel's Friendz Prepaid

Bharti has launched `Airtel Friendz Prepaid' in Chennai targeting the `Generation X'. It comes with several firsts, a 64k SIM with a 250 number phonebook, a closed user group (CUG) facility for 3-5 members, a phone-to-phone (P2P) recharge facility and hot-spot calls. Airtel charges a monthly rental of Rs 25 from each member for the CUG facility apart from a one-time fee of Rs 25 from the person forming the group. Subscribers can transfer recharge within the group. Hot-spot calls and night calls are charged at Re 1 per minute, while group calls are charged at 50 paise per minute. You can send local SMS free of charge. You get all of this if you can spare a rupee a day as rental.
