Back Premji reappointed Wipro Chairman

BANGALORE: The board of directors of Wipro Ltd, at a meeting on January 21, has re-appointed Mr Azim H.Premji, Chairman and Managing Director designated as Chairman for a further period of two years and seven months from December 31, 2004 to July 30, 2007.

Mr Premji's re-appointment is subject to the approval of the shareholders at the next AGM.
