Back Kerala: Water levels recede in major reservoirs Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels in the three major reservoirs in the State Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada have recorded a slight decline compared to those recorded a week ago. As per the figures supplied by the Central Water Commission, the level declined from 2,350.05 ft to 2,346.98 ft at Idukki, 487.34 ft to 484.02 ft at Idamalayar and from 360.07 ft to 357.94 ft at Kallada. However, when compared to the recordings made last year during the same time, all the reservoirs experienced an increase in levels. At Idukki, the level was up by 17.34 ft, at Idamalayar 10.33 ft and at Kallada, 5.84 ft.
