Back Kaye elected as US-India Business Council Chairman

The US-India Business Council on Tuesday announced the election of Mr Charles R. Kaye as Chairman of Board of Director of USIBC.

Mr Kaye is the Co-President of Warburg Pincus LLC, a global private equity firm with substantial investments in India.

His tenure as the Chairman commences on June 1 for a three-year term, a release said here.

The current Chairman, Mr Rajat Gupta, who is Senior Partner Worldwide at McKinsey & Co, said: "Mr Kaye's hands-on knowledge of India, with successful investments on ground, brings to the USIBC practical experience shaped by the understanding of India's vast potential."
