MANGALORE: Mr Nitin J. Shetty has been elected Chairman of the Mangalore branch of Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for 2005-06, says a press release.

The other office-bearers are: Mr Lionel G. Aranha (vice-chairman); Mr Praveen Kumar Shetty (secretary); Mr Giridhar Kamath (treasurer); Mr B. Bharath Shanbhogue (student association chairman); and Mr M.R. Narasimhadas Pai (member).
