Back Knit-Tech to open in Tirupur today

COIMBATORE: The 8th edition of the knitwear machinery exhibition, Knit-Tech 2005, will open in Tirupur on Thursday.

The five-day fair is organised by Hi-tech International Trade Fair India Pvt Ltd.

Over 300 exhibitors, several of them represented by overseas textile machinery manufacturers and their Indian principals, are to participate in the fair. A good number of Chinese textile equipment manufacturers are also expected to take part.

Besides the knitted fabric making and sewing machines, new generation post-fabrication/finishing line machines such as compacting, embroidery, heat-setting machinery and testing equipment will be on display.
