COIMBATORE: Irugur village near here, where the Container Corporation of India (Concor) is setting up a new inland container complex, has been declared as "Customs notified area" by the Central Board of Excise and Customs. The Irugur complex is being developed on 42 acres at a cost of Rs. 2 crores in the first phase. Concor is expected to start operations of the complex by the end of next month or early April. It has planned to develop Irugur as an integrated container terminal with rail-cum-road linkage.
