Back Land acquisition completed Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has completed the acquisition of 98.40 hectares of land under the fast-track project drawn up for rail, road and airport development. Announcing this, an official spokesman said, of this, 25.78 hectares have been transferred for various projects under the World Bank-aided Kerala State Transport Project. A little more than 43 hectares have been taken over so far for development of railways. The acquisition programme, as part of this project, was kicked off on October 21 last year, the spokesman said.
