Back Cognizant Tech's retail practice `expanding fast'

COGNIZANT Technology Solutions has announced that its retail practice continues to expand rapidly. It counts six out of the top 20 retailers worldwide as customers, according to a company press release.

Cognizant has several solutions for retailers. These include solutions in the area of warehouse management, price optimisation, wireless POS (point of sale), customer relationship management, supply chain solutions using RFID (radio frequency identification), accelerated barcode compliance tool kit, and retail IT strategy consulting. It has developed a detailed framework for package evaluation to help in package selection for customers, the release said.
